Essentially a facelifted Sebring, the 200 gets reworked front and rear fascias, interior and prices. Inside the 200, owners will be treated to soft-touch materials, instead of the hard, unwanted plastics of the Sebring.
Powering the 200 will be two petrol engines; a 173bhp (175PS) 2.4 litre, 4 cylinder and the all-new 283bhp (286PS) 3.6 litre V6 Pentastar. The 2.4 produces 225Nm (166lb-ft) of torque and can be linked with either a 4 speed or 6 speed automatic, while the 3.6 V6 Pentastar is only available with a 6 speed automatic and kicks out 353Nm (260lb-ft) of torque.
Standard and optionally features include ambient lighting, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, 30GB hard drive w/iPod® connectivity, cruise control, leather seats, x6 airbags, ESC and active head restraints.
The new 2011 Chrysler 200 sedan will arrive in U.S dealerships in fourth quarter 2010. The 200 is built at the Sterling Heights, Mich. Assembly Plant.
